He killed “Control.” And Kendrick Lamar once again proved why he’s untouchable during his cypher at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Following his fellow TDE members SchoolBoy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, and Isaiah Rashad, the Compton MC stepped to the mic and left a bloody path in his wake.
He took subliminal shots at Drake (“Nothing’s been the same since they dropped ‘Control’/ And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes”) and showed who’s boss (“Hold up, wait a minute, your career ain’t shit unless you got some Kendrick in it”).
