...Day26 Reunites for Tour...

Danity Kane aren’t the only ones getting back together. Four years since their last album, “Making the Band 4″ alums Day26 are reuniting for a new tour.

, all five members of the R&B group—Robert Curry, Brian Andrews, Willie Taylor, Qwanell Mosley, and Michael McCluney—are on board and will hit the road for a 30-city tour starting in the spring of 2014.

“WEEERE BAAAAACK!!!!!!! #Day26,” tweeted the band.

Diddy discovered Day26 on MTV’s “Making the Band 4″ in 2007. They went on to release two albums including their 2008 debut, which entered the charts at No. 1. In 2009, Qwanell “Que” Mosley was kicked out of the group because of disagreements with management.

Following their breakup in 2012, there were rumors of a reunion, but it didn’t become a reality until Que came on board.

Diddy will not be involved this time around, but he has reportedly given the group his blessing.

...Alicia Keys and John Legend Perform Tribute to Nelson Mandela...

Alicia Keys was in Australia when she learned of Nelson Mandela’s passing. To honor the anti-apartheid icon, she performed a musical tribute during her “Set the World on Fire” tour in the Yarra Valley. With some help from her tourmate John Legend, they dedicated an acoustic version of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” to Madiba.

“We wanted to do something special for you in honor of the great Nelson Mandela, who I feel so moved by in every way,” said Alicia. “What an incredible life lived and what an inspiration for us to all carry forward.”

Alicia had the privilege of performing for Mandela at the Mandela Day concert in honor of his 91st birthday. “I was in awe of a man whose soul was filled with an effortless and rare love that only comes once in a lifetime,” she said. “He was a gentle man with a beautiful smile, and deep eyes that always saw the best in humanity. His legacy lives on in all of us!”

From Miley to Macklemore, pop’s biggest stars rung in the holidays at 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball in Los Angeles on Friday.

Following their seven Grammy nominations, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis rocked the Staples Center and brought out Schoolboy Q to perform “White Walls.”

Despite feeling under the weather, pint-sized diva Ariana Grande was cute as can be in a wintery white dress while singing an acoustic version of “Honeymoon Avenue” and her holiday single “Last Christmas.” She had technical difficulties during her set, but that didn’t stop her.

“I’m sorry if my mic was off the whole entire time. At least you know I’m not a track, right?” she told the crowd.

Some interpreted the comment as shade, but she took to Twitter to clear the air. “Ohhh jesus. I wasn’t throwing shade AT ALL I didn’t even see anyone else’s set. I was sick backstage that’s why I didn’t even do the carpet,” said Ariana.

Miley Cyrus was more naughty than nice during her provocative performance. The pop singer remixed her set for the holidays, twerking on St. Nick and dancing with sexy reindeer and a Christmas tree while performing “We Can’t Stop” and “#GETITRIGHT.”

“You are a VERY BAD Santa @CheyneThomas,” Miley told her friend.

Robin Thicke performed “Blurred Lines” with T.I. and caught up with his VMA partner-in-crime Miley backstage. His wife Paula Patton also stopped by to support her man, who was nominated for three Grammys earlier in the evening.

WALE VISTS HIS FAMILY FOR THE FIRST TIME...HOMECOMMING

Maybach Music met the Motherland this past weekend when Wale stepped foot in his father’s home country of Nigeria for the very first time in his life. He was there to perform at a Johnnie Walker event but took the opportunity to get in touch with his roots, having emotional reunions with his family.

When he first stepped off the plane and was making his way out of the airport, he told a reporter that only 15 percent of his family lives in the U.S. and the rest are in Nigeria so he was excited to connect with his people while there.

I feel good. I was excited. I could barely sleep. It’s a real moment to finally be here, man. I’m blessed. I’m excited about it.[...]I’m curious. I’m more curious as to what it’s going to bring to me than what I’m gonna bring. I’m just very alert and really curious about everything from the food to the fashion to the people. The little idiosyncrasies that are within the country. Being that I’m a very family oriented person, only 15 percent of my family lives in the States. Everybody else is here so I got a lot of ground to cover.

During his trip, Wale stopped by Lagos Beat FM radio and revealed that he’s never been to Nigeria because he grew up poor and didn’t have the money to afford a plane ticket out of the States:

I grew up poor. When we lived in DC we lived in the projects. In Maryland we lived in the projects. To get a ticket to Nigeria on a $20,000 yearly income for my family, that wasn’t really…and by the time we started getting money, I’m a knucklehead. A 14-year-old, 15-year-old with a decent job, I’m not gonna save up to go to Nigeria. That’s not how I was thinking when I was at that age. Then I was in college and money [was] tight. Then I get this record deal when I dropped out of school, you running around so much you don’t have time to barely see your own parents at home. It took some time, but I’m here now.

During his show at the Johnnie Walker event, Wale brought out Nigerian artist Sèyi Shay on stage to sing “Bad” with him. He also gave a shout out to his dad during the show while using a Yoruba accent.

“I promise to keep coming back. If y’all will have me, I’ll coming coming back. Shoutout to my dad, Mr. Akintimehin do you want to take a bow for these people now? Haaa Oga!”
