With Lil Wayne and Justin Bieber on his side, Floyd Mayweather,
Jr. fought his way to a victory on Saturday. The odd couple escorted
the boxing champ to the ring during last night’s match against Canelo
Alvarez in Las Vegas.
A shirtless Weezy performed “A Milli” while the teen heartthrob kept cool in shades and a black T-shirt as they made their way into the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Despite Mayweather’s victory, one judge called it a draw, which Bieber did not agree with. “Who calls a draw? That guy was watching the wrong fight. @FloydMayweather is the greatest. #MoneyTeam still #undefeated,” tweeted the “Boyfriend” singer.
Weezy congratulated Mayweather on his win. “Proud to be a part of
the legacy of one of the greatest athletes that ever lived. & that’s
the legacy of the great Floyd “$” Mayweather TMT!” he said.
Bieber and Wayne first became friends with Mayweather in 2012 when the pro boxer defeated Miguel Cotto.
