The beef between Ghetto Gladiator Bobi Wine and Gagamel President Big Size Bebe Cool has taken a new and more hyped direction after Bobi Wine released a new single titled By Far; a purely direct but promised attack on Bebe Cool.
The release of By Far followed Bobi Wine issuing two ultimatums demanding that Bebe Cool withdraws his Film Star lyrics or he (Bobi) unleashes his wrath. And yes as he promised, Bobi Wine has released the song.
In By Far, Bobi Wine assures Bebe Cool that;
“Big size you tell big lies; I live a dream, you just fantasize. Open your eyes better realize, don’t see me rise and just criticize. You talk about daddy’s money, bad Bobi Wine talks about Bobi’s money, you better wake up from your dream.”
This song is going to have one of the hottest debates in the music industry ever. First, it is a direct but promised attack on Bebe Cool after he released a song titled Film Star with verses dissing Bobi Wine.
Secondly it comes at a time when Bebe Cool has just appeared in a local newspaper in an article that I strongly believe carried a lot of unfairness.
And lastly, the song comes only two weeks to the much hyped battle of champions between these two known arch rivals.
About the song;
By Far was recorded at Fire Records under the watchful eyes of Producer Tonny Houles. It is sung in both Luganda and English in an afro-dancehall genre. In the song, Bobi Wine gives tribute to Goodlyfe at their Neverland home and Doctor Jose Chameleone and his Leone Island empire.
By Far and Film Star, which is the better song? Back to you our great audience.
About Battle of Champions:
This latest battle of words started by Bobi Wine comes with only two weeks to the highly anticipated battle of champions between Ghetto Gladiator Bobi Wine and Big Size Bebe Cool. This concert will take place on May 4th at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.
About Film Star:
Film Star also known as Ndiisa Buuti is the latest song from Bebe Cool. In this song, Bebe Cool explains why he lives his life the way he does. But most interesting he says that life is like a film and always at the end of any film, the gangster (Omubanda) has to die and the film star takes the day. To many, this is a direct attack on Bobi Wine. Remember that Bobi Wine has nicknamed himself Omubanda wa Kabaka.
