Neve Tirza prison, the only women’s jail in Israel, hosted a fashion show. The show was apart of a rehabilitation program that teaches prisoners skills that they can use when they’re released from jail. Read more on the story and check out the photos of the jail fashion show below!
They presented their debut collections at Neve Tirza prison’s first fashion show. The prisoners at the jail designed clothes and those studying makeup application or hairdressing styled models. The models wore the garments on a red carpet which was lined by prison fencing and barbed wire. Nicole Englander, a spokeswoman for the prison says, “we take advantage of the jail term. We want to get the inmates to return once they are released with better opportunities.”
