If you thought they were loved at the London Olympic Games, the U.S. gymnastics teams is adored back on American soil. Gabby
Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Jordyn Wieber, Kyla Ross, and Aly Raisman had
a field day in new York on Tuesday, culminating in an appearance on the
David Letterman Show. The team, dubbed the 'Fierce Five' were on the couch with Letterman discussing what sports they would like to compete in.

posed with their trophies round their necks, having brought home an
impressive array of gold and silverware from the London Games. The girls
playfully bit their medals and grinned for the cameras, posting the
photographs online on Twitter.
On top of the empire state building.. AMAZING!!!' Team captain Aly tweeted. 'This day keeps getting better and better! Having soooo much fun with the girls.' With beaming smiles they looked to be literally on top of the world, no doubt reliving their successes from the past two weeks.
