A week before her album Souled Out arrives in stores, Jhené Aiko debuts the video for her single “The Pressure.” From red carpets to raising a child, the L.A. songstress illustrates the challenges of being in a relationship in the Childish Gambino and Calmatic-directed clip. She rocks blonde dreads in the vignettes, which feature a cameo from her daughter Namiko.
Souled Out includes contributions from No I.D., Common, Key Wane, Fisticuffs, James Fauntleroy, and Dot Da Genius.
Following the album’s release, Jhené will join The Weeknd on his four-city “King of the Fall” tour with ScHoolboy Q, starting September 19 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
