Orange Is The New Black writer Lauren Morelli has officially filed for divorce from her husband of 2 years, Steve Basilone, and has been reportedly dating one of the show’s stars since the beginning of the year.
The two have taken their relationship
public, but now since Lauren is technically married it’s time to make
things right so that their relationship can prosper.
According to TMZ, the
former couple filed a joint petition for divorce, and has agreed an
amicable settlement. Lauren gets her Lexus, her apartment and her
sapphire engagement ring. While Steve gets their other car, the Mazda
hatchback.
Moreover, one would think Steve would be
very bitter about the divorce, but in fact, he was very supportive. He
encourages people to tune into the show that helped Lauren realize her
true feelings.
