She opened the 90-minute set with “Same Girl” and ran through her catalog of hits including “If You Had My Love,” “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” “Waiting for Tonight,” and her latest single “First Love” off her upcoming 10th album A.K.A., due June 17.
Ja Rule appeared for “I’m Real” and “Ain’t It Funny.” She also debuted a new song with Fat Joe, who delivered his hit “Lean Back.” French Montana joined J.Lo for “I Luh Ya Papi” and performed his own hits, “Ain’t Worried About Nothin” and “Pop That.”
Additionally, she paid tribute to Selena and covered Diana Ross’ “Theme from Mahogany” and Barbra Streisand’s “My Man” before closing with her 2001 hit “Jenny From the Block.”
“It feels super at home for me,” J.Lo told “GMA.” “It took me right back to Sundays in the Bronx.”
Backstage, she was joined by friends and family including T.I., Khloe Kardashian, Angie Martinez, her mother, and her sister.
