Global Fashion Show to benefit the Bisila Bokoko African Literacy Project .
On Friday, October 22, 2010 at 7:00 pm at Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) - Fashionjunkii will be organizing a Global Fashion Show to benefit the Bisila Bokoko African Literacy Project (BBALP-www.bbalp.org).
Eight well established designers will be presenting their collections from different parts of the globe. They are:MATAANO, Amparo Chorda, Louda Collection, African Mosaique, Thula Sindi, David Tlale, Nike Kondakis, and Prajjé Couture. Moreover, there will be a total of 36 diverse models representing every part of the globe.
This one of a kind fashion show will not only bring the invited only attendees a taste of global culture, but will also give them a chance to ‘’hobnob’’ with global celebrities, high profile fashion gurus and New York Elite. Guests will also have a chance to see one of a kind pieces (most of which are not mass produced).
The fashion show is the first Global Fashion show event presented this year to benefit charities and is intended to be a yearly fashion gathering for great charity causes.
