Kesha Sues Producer Dr. Luke for Sexual Assault and Battery.

Kesha is suing her producer Dr. Luke after 10 years of alleged abuse — her shocking claims and his countersuit.

TMZ first reported that, Dr. Luke’s behavior toward Kesha began almost immediately after she signed with him at the age of eighteen and he was nearly 15 years her senior. The lawsuit said, drugs and alcohol played a role in Dr. Luke’s twisted behavior in his alleged advances towards Kesha.

“The facts presented in our lawsuit paint a picture of a man who is controlling and willing to commit horrible acts of abuse in an attempt to intimidate an impressionable, talented, young female artist into submission for his personal gain,” Kesha’s attorney, Mark Geragos, told TMZ. “Kesha is focused on moving her life and her career beyond this terrible time.”

Kesha cited one instance in which Dr. Luke allegedly gave her what he called “sober pills,” and the next afternoon she woke up naked in his bed “sore and sick with no memory of how she got there.” Following the incident, Dr. Luke reportedly took Kesha aside and “threatened that if she ever mentioned the rape to anyone, he would shut her career down, take away all her publishing and recording rights, and otherwise destroy not only her life but her entire family’s lives as well. He also threatened her and her family’s physical safety,” the lawsuit alleges.

The documents also claim he was verbally abusive, insulting her weight and calling her a “fat f—king refrigerator,” which led to the singer’s eating disorder. One particularly disturbing allegation involved Dr. Luke “violently thrashing his arms at her” in his Malibu home before she escaped and was forced to run barefoot down the Pacific Coast Highway and hide in the mountains.
