New Music: Jessie J – ‘Personal’

After “Burnin’ Up” the dance floor with 2 Chainz, Jessie J gets “Personal” on the latest release from her upcoming album. Love gets the best of the British songstress on the emotional ballad, co-written by Elle Varner and Jenna Andrews.
“‘Cause I told myself I don’t love you though I know it’s a lie, ’cause I do / When you fall in love, can’t help it when you act like a fool,” she sings.
Jessie’s third album Sweet Talker is due October 14 featuring the Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande-assisted hit “Bang Bang,” with contributions from Diplo, Tricky Stewart, The-Dream, Max Martin, De La Soul, and violinist Lindsey Stirling.
In celebration of the album, she will play an intimate show at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City on October 9 and another at the El Rey Theatre in L.A. on her release day.
