Earlier today, 50 Cent was
charged with domestic violence after he allegedly kicked his
ex-girlfriend and trashed her apartment. According to a police report
obtained by TMZ, 50 went to the woman’s home in Toluca Lake, CA on June
23 and broke her chandeliers, furniture, a TV, lamp, and trashed her
entire bedroom closet, causing over $7,100 in damages. Can we say anger management?
The woman told police that she hid in her bathroom
to avoid him harming her any further, but here’s the kicker (no pun
intended), the woman has a child by 50, and is not Shaniqua Tompkins,
the mother of his 16-year-old Marquis.
After digging a little further, it seems as though model Daphne Joy (whom 50 dated for 3 years) had a child by him sometime last year. [They sure can keep a secret!]
50 Cent is due in court on July 22 and faces up to five years in jail and $46,000 in fines if convicted.
