Kerry Washington is taking tips from Olivia Pope on how to keep a secret, because the actress was able to keep it hushed that not only has she been dating an NFL player for the last year, but in late June they tied the knot! E! News
was able to snag themselves a copy of the marriage license that shows
that Kerry and San Francisco 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha ran off to
Idaho and jumped the broom on June 24.
Both families were there, including Kerry’s parents Earl and Valerie who signed the marriage certificate
as witnesses and Nnamdi’s sister, minister Chisaraukwu Asomugha,
officiating the ceremony. We should have known something was up when
Kerry tweeted on June 19 that she would be dipping out for a month,
saying she was “taking a tweet break.” Now we know she’s somewhere
cuddled up on her honeymoon with her new husband.
