Last night, Trey Songz planted a big kiss on the cheek of his rumored
girlfriend Lauren London after hitting the stage of this year’s Essence
Music Festival. Just days before, Trey twisted his ankle during a game
of basketball, which caused him to spend most of his time in New
Orleans on crutches and in a wheelchair.
Despite his injury, Trey hit the Essence Music Festival main stage in
a suit and bow tie to belt out some of his hits and Steve Havey tweeted
in response, ” Alright now ! My boy Trey Songz wearing a suit!! I told him last year – time to make a change.”
Afterward, Trey was wheeled backstage by Kevin Hart and James Harden
for a press conference where Kevin Hart answered all of the questions
while giving his best Trey Songz impersonation. Later that night, the
three fellas headed to a local New Orleans club where they celebrated
Kevin Hart’s birthday until the wee hours of the morning. A twisted
ankle definitely don’t stop the Trey Songz show….
