THE 2013 MTV VIDEO AWARDS RED CARPRT

This year’s MTV Video Music Awards was all about the skin, as some of our favorite chicks walked the red carpet in designer gowns that showed off their bodies. Meanwhile, the fellas kept it more casual than usual  (with the exception of Big Sean) as they graced this year’s red carpet in Timbaland boots, sneakers, shirts that promoted their albums, and Versace, Versace, Versace.

 Ciara’s Fall 2010 Givenchy Haute Couture gown was so hot, it received a post of it’s own earlier, especially since it was a creation that was very similar to a dress that Beyonce wore last year.  Ciara may have won the battle of who wore it best since she took the risk of wearing no undergarments, and her body fit the dress perfectly. BTW, did Ciara clean up Future or what? He’s been on his GQ-grown man since they started dating.

Iggy Azalea was also feeling fearless as she rocked the carpet in a gold Emilio Pucci gown that barely covered her assets. She too had the perfect body for a dress such as this.

Lil Kim arrived in a black and gold catsuit that she paired with Christian Louboutin boots.  The catsuit is very similar to the LaQuan Smith catsuit that Nicki Minaj wore in Marie Claire, however, the designer tweeted that Lil Kim’s version was not his creation.

2 Chainz showed up in Versace on Versace.  His pants were also spotted on singer Grimes who co-hosted the red carpet.

Katy Perry rocked a pair of gold grillz to complement her leopard print Emanuel Ungaro dress.

Miley Cyrus had an 80′s go-go girl thing going on as she walked the red carpet with Hip Hop producer Mike Will Made It.

And of course she twerked and danced all the way to her seat.

Rita Ora looked stunning in her short blonde bob and an Alex Vauthier dress with a long feathered train.

Naya Rivera was giving Kim K tease on the red carpet.  She was spotted posted up with her man Big Sean while wearing a Vintage Paco Rabanne dress.

Ashanti arrived in aqua-colored cut out dress.

Selena Gomez was slaying in a blue Atelier Versace gown with a peek-a-boo bustier. Sexy!!!

The Smith Kids were too cool for school as they hit the red carpet in 90s inspired throwback gear.

Paula Patton shimmered in a black Lever Couture gown and Guiseppe Zanotti gold heels.  She was definitely smiling, happy and unbothered by Robin’s performance with Miley Cyrus all night.
