The Los Angeles County Coroner has finally released the cause of
Whitney Houston’s death and has determined that it was an accidental
drowning. The autopsy results also revealed that there was cocaine found
in her system.
According to reports, her prolonged cocaine use along with her
atherosclerotic heart disease could have caused her to suffer a heart
attack, pass out, and eventually drown. There were other drugs found in
her system at including Benadryl, Xanax, and marijuana, but the Coroner
decided they didn’t have anything to do with her death, however she did
use the cocaine immediately prior to her collapse in the Beverly Hilton
